Artifacts
Attach the context that already lives elsewhere — Drive, Notion, Figma, PDFs — directly to a story, so your AI and your team have it on hand.
What is an artifact?
An artifact is an external reference linked to a story — a Google Drive doc, Notion page, Figma file, PDF, or any URL. Each records who added it, so the source of context is always clear.
Why use them
- Context with the work — no hunting across tabs for the spec or design
- Richer AI assessments — your AI can read artifacts (with its connectors) when analyzing a story
- Attribution — every artifact shows the contributor who added it
How to add them
Add artifacts from the story view, or have your AI attach one via add_story_artifact. Remove them with remove_story_artifact — only the original adder or a workspace owner/admin can remove an artifact.
Tip: If your AI can't read an artifact, make sure the relevant cloud connector (Google Drive, Notion, etc.) is configured and you're signed in.
